The Only Trouser You Need Until Labor Day
Summer heat waves mean, it’s time to stow away that winter denim. (That’s anything darker than a sand blasted sky blue.) Instead of the winter favorite—denim, try some trousers.
The summer staple of trousers is the white chino. Chinos of any color provide a relaxed yet dressed up look; but white is still the most versatile. (Plus, they’re more comfortable than denim and easily stain treated.)
As far as your concerns with wearing white after Labor Day, that fashion faux paux is long dead. For the last time—it’s ok. But, I’d still recommend a subtler off-white or alabaster vs. stark white. It’s a little less pretentious.
